    Hey everyone,

After my m17x R1 getting replaced by Dell last march for an R2 I am still having some issues that I do not think are acceptable for a computer of such caliber.

    Here are my specs:

    m17x R2.
    A10 bios
    i7 Q740 @1.73
    X-fire 5870 With v8.763 drivers
    6g ram

The issues I have are the following:

    1) When playing a video-game such as world of warcraft or league of legends and I alt tab to play a youtube video fps drop is significant and looks very choppy. The same thing happens when I am alt tabbed watching a stream or a movie online.

    2) When I try to stream myself. The video-game in general turns out to be close to unplayable. Settings on the game even turned down all the way down and resolution for the screen set at almost cell-phone. It is that bad!

    3) FPS in general on the game world of warcraft is quite low. On ultra settings I am getting around 24 fps without being much action on the background, that of course drops to below 10 when there is a lot of spell effects.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you for your time!

Update to the 11.10 AMD drivers and install CAP 2 from 11.11. Don't install 11.11. drivers as they are very buggy and will give you a BSOD. You need the application profiles. ;)

    AMD 11.10

    11.11 CAP 2

I have 11.9, but love 11.10 drivers better. I will try playing video tonite when I get home from work on 11.9 first, then update to 11.10 and see if I notice video get worse.

I was on 11.10 and reverted to 11.9 to try and get rid of crashes in BF3, but will probably update to 11.10 again. I also liked 11.10 as I realized 11.10 would probably suit the OP better as there wasn't anything wrong with 11.10, it's 11.11 that was a huge issue.
