    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone else has this issue: when trying to scroll through pages/documents using the one-finger area on the right side, has anyone noticed that they have to apply a decent amount of pressure to get the scrolling started?

It's weird, because if I apply light pressure (which would normally be enough to move the cursor around) in the vertical scrolling area, the cursor doesn't move so obviously the software is recognizing that I am in the scrolling area, but it doesn't scroll (the little scrolling icon doesn't appear.)

I haven't found a way to change pressure needed to scroll in the software; changing the "touch pressure" to move the cursor around does not help this issue.

Also, on a side note... this is my first Alienware laptop, but I can't believe they didn't put a visible indicator light to show when battery is charging, when computer is in standby, etc (when the lid is closed.) I thought this was standard for laptops for all time =)

Do you have that problem on everything, or just Firefox? For me, it only happens on Firefox, and the scroll icon DOES appear.

I have the same issue, and it happens in more than Firefox. It's bad enough that I don't even try to use the touchpad to scroll anymore.

Touchpads on previous Dell laptops have not needed that kind of pressure to scroll when using the vertical and horizontal scroll zones.

Happens to me in more than Firefox (I usually use Chrome), but is not limited to browsers. Even in Word, Adobe Reader, etc. It is pretty annoying.... considering there are many times I have to go back and do things twice or three times to get the scroll working.

On the other hand... the two-finger scrolling works pretty well. Still a bit disappointed that the one-finger scrolling is so finicky though.
