    Hi,
I just got a second hand 7970m off ebay and when I install it in my R3 it gives me 8 beeps and black screen. Could this be a vBios problem or does it mean the 7970m is broken? It boots ok on the iGPU.
I really would like to try to get it working before returning it.
    Thanks

I had a similar problem, but in my case the problem was in the southern bridge . You cleared the BIOS? If the reset gave nothing is likely graphics card not working.
