PAR00X64.fd not PARA, also case sensitive. Esata port on the right. Good luck. It should work. I've been in the same situation.

Done, doesn't beep nor even look like it's reading my usb... I used ao8 bios file from dell site and usb quick formatted in fat32...

Shall I remove GPU now? :(

It still seems to remember my pink colour keyboard light too -_-

Ok before you change your CPU. I'll give you it one more time. Just to have a go.

Alright, it seems simple enough. But I have one of them Sandisks with light to know when its on, and it doesn't light up

And I don't have any other CPUS, just the 6870M I got with it

I really don't think that changing the GPU will help.

Format the USB using FAT no NTFS. Some Sandisks have a separate partition for autorun stuff. Make sure there isn't. Get this file:
    PAR00X64.fd
Stick it to the root. Pull out the battery and the plug. Plug the USB in the esata. Hold end, and plug the cord in ONLY. You need to hold and wait for about a minute. The fans will be on full for the whole time.

Basically it all boils down to what I did earlier: Enabled integrated graphics card, and with my GPU in somehow it just FUBAR so yeah, took that out and was able to flash clean bios and F2 into bios. Guess I can just put my GPU back in then

I should have thought twice when I saw that it did not recognise any built in GPU and just my ATI card

Installed ATI card back in, Bios now recognises BOTH Sandy Brridge Integrated GFX and ATI GFX - so i guess I was going to run into this problem sooner or later !

I need to buy some new screws guys, I can barely screw/unscrew them in now.. Anyyone got any dimensions for them, suggestions? 3 for both fans, 4 for cpu heatsink and 4 for gpu heatsink

and i serously need a new backplate for the 6990M card because I am not too comfortable with 3 screws in..

Thanks loads everyone like, more than anyone has ever thanked you before - I would rep but I am too nooby on these forums :( I am calling it a night now before I go mad, at least I can go sleep happy
