    Hi folks,

For work reasons I had to transform my m17x R4 in a Quad buffered stereo workstation laptop. I changed the original AMD 7970m with an Quadro K3000M and repalce the original LCD panel with an 120 Hz one. The point is, after install the modified nvidia drivers I've gotten it working the OGL quad buffered stereo with the 3D Vision as "generic active stereo" but not the 3D vision system itself. It's really weird. Any advice?

    Thanks a lot

3D won't work with non-Dell whitelisted GPUs. In the M17x R4 it is only the 675m and 680m that are certified. Any other nvidia card is able to drive the display but not output 3D.

thanks for the quick response. Anyway, is not weird that the quad buffered stereo is working, in-build nvidia stereo emitter included, but not the 3D Vision.

    Thanks again,

All quadros have the quad buffer option so that's not surprising.
