    m17x bios discrete graphics not detected after bsod

    Help me guys, here's what happened.
    I was only watching YouTube and got bsod all of the sudden. After that my m17x discrete graphics is not detected anymore in Bios, only the integrated is being detected.
    I have tried to reseat the GPU as well as the CMOS, no luck.

    Is my GPU already dead...all of the sudden...just like that??

    Windows 7 64bits
    Gtx 660m
    i7-3740qm

    Well, you can try calling warranty support. It's been less than a year, they should be able to fix it for you.

    Have you tried pressing Fn+F7 to try to make it appear again? Does that do anything?
    Try unplugging the ac adapter and battery and press down the power button and hold it for 2 minutes (the PC won't turn on) it's just to drain the motherboard power.

    I've called the technician yesterday and he came to my house this evening. He said the gpu is dead, so he replaced a new one for me. Everything works fine now.
