    shot me if u will but Im going to ask.........how do u tell the diffrence between a r1 or r2....how do I check which model I have?

    The processor is a good one

    R1 = Core 2 Duo / Quad CPUs Eg. T9300, Q9000, Q9300 Etc

    R2 = Core I3/ I5/ I7 CPUs

    the other way you can tell is the splash screen on the bios when you first boot up. The R2 has a colored alien head with red eyes vs R1's Grayscale...
