    Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue, i have checked out a lot of the other postings, but i have an issue that my roommate got me to notice, i was on my desktop and he accidentally nudged the my desk. All of a sudden I have BSOD. Just to see if it would happen again i shook my desk and then BSOD. Do i have a defective unit? Only had the laptop for 3 days.

Specs: (just in case this will help decipher the issue)
    i7 820qm
    4gb 1333mhz ram
    1920 x 1200 rgb led display
    1Tb dual 500 gb raid 0
    wireless 3x3 intel

thank you for all your help.

That's probably your HDD's Free Fall Sensors ON.
You need to turn them off.

i agree. it could also be a loose wire inside the computer, but FFS is more likely and easier to fix.

That's a very good alternative to the expensive and low storage capacity SSD's. Should provide a huge boost in booting speed and opening the "remembered" applications.
I'm still debating between this and the total money sucker - Intel's upcoming G3.

Is this happening for most R2 owners? Are many of you disabling the freefall sensor service? We might need to have our dell/aw forum rep take a look at this...

I have it enabled, and I do move my system; occasionally with the lid open. I do not get a BSOD. I just take it slow, and keep it level. Just my experience.

On this system. I did get alot of bosd and both hard drive went out. One on the frist week. The second one in 3 Month. The best way I could explain it was Who ever handle the system on shipping did not read the info on the box Like handel with Care.

Please do this put in your respawn cd and reboot and have your cd scan the hard disks. It will take a while.
