    hi guys

i have descovered that my screen is an R610k CCFL screen hwinfo says that its an RGB screen i'm wondering is the jump from the R610k screen to the 0J2CY8 9PHFF, K1NFP J6JG5 RGB LED screen a big difference and if so where can i get you from. The only place i have found an led aliewnare screen is going to cost me $500 shipped and for a screen thats a bit pricey to me.

There are entire LCD modules for 225+ on eBay and on Marketplace.

In terms of quality, it becomes a significant difference over the CCFL once hotter colors (red, orange and yellow) come to play...

Also, I hope I'm not going too much off topic, but I hear that Apple is coming up with retina displays for their MacBook lines (2880x1800), which happens to be 16:10 (so much for everyone making the move to 16:9...). Wouldn't it be cool if us R2 owners could do a swap with these type of screens? That's definitely my next project ;)

it would be amazing but are GPUs may have issues playing games at those resolutions, and wouldn't you have to swap out the actual LCD panel which is a pain in the but to do this. also wouldn't the resolution be 2560 x 1600.

and back on topic if anyone is selling an RGB LED screen can they let me know and pass the word along Think i will post in the market place aswell
