    m17x r2 blocked in stealth mode

    Hey (Before you read this, sorry for my english i'm french student)
    So when i receive my laptop, I test the touch button and the stealth mode but when i shutdown my computer there have been a upgrade windows and i need to reinstall windows but now i'm block in stealth mode ( my cpu : 1.6 Ghz The crossfire is disable ...) I've install the OSD but the touch button doesn't work exept of the eject button.

    try shutting down.
    remove the battery and power
    hold the power button for ~30 seconds
    re-insert the battery
    reconnect the ac psu
    power up

    check if that fixes the problem.

    Thanks for your reply but i've already do this and i've always the problem.

    I've find how to disable stealth mode but i'm always to 1.6 Ghz :/

    try using wattos stealth indicator
    this will show you for sure if stealth is on or off.
    it will also enable you to toggle stealth via his software rather than the touch sensitive button.

    if it's just the cpu that's the problem, you can force clocks using throttlestop

    are you checking cpu clocks under load or just idle?
    try running something like prime95 and check the clocks while it tests.
