    m17x r2 fans always on full blast

    I just re-installed windows on my m17x r2. the config is in my sig.
    i installed all my drivers and updates however my fans are always on full blast. it is getting very annoying since they can be pretty loud

    maybe some hardware in your laptop is overheated........
    try to check your temps by using HWmonitor

    It could be some messed up bios setting. Try a full power drain.

    *Remove power plug, battery, coincell battery
    *Hold the power button for 20-30 secounds
    *Reinsert the batteries and power up the computer.

    I had nearly the same problem when bought used m17x r2. So firstly I have disassembled it(my fans had a lot of dust).Then I have changed my BIOS to A10 modded, and that is all. Even in futuremark and prime(for about 6-7 minutes) I had no problems and HWinfo showed normal temps(not too hot). Try to do it. Good luck. P.S. Sorry if I have some mistakes.
