    Ok so i just recieved my r2 and im wondering how it compares to my old r1.

    My r1 specs were:
    core 2 duo at 2.8 ghz
    sli nvidia gtx 285m
    4gigs of ram

    My r2
    core i7 940xm at 2.13
    8 gigs ram
    single ati 5870m

    The cpu will smoke your old processor. Do some research on "throttle stop" ;) Gpu's are a considerable upgrade as well. You got a heck of a replacement. Did you get the 1200p RGB screen?

    Wait if you had sli and now only have a single gpu, return it. Tell Dell that they need to give equal or better dual gpu for dual gpu. If you had sli and now don't have crossfire, Dell owes you
