    Hello everybody.

I recently got a new GTX 880M to install in my m17x R3 and finally got it to be recognized by the bios and now I am unable to install its drivers on windows 7.

The driver I am trying to install is :
    v326.29 Windows 8 64bit | NVIDIA Mobile OEM - GeForce r326 series - LaptopVideo2Go Forums

I have downloaded the modified .nfo but every single time that I tried to updqte the device recognized qs Standard SVGA Adapter and manually giving the address to were the driver and the modded nfo file are I get the message as the most up to date driver is already installed.

    am I doing something wrong?

    Steps I did...

    download driver.

    download modded nfo.

    extract driver.

copy modded nfo into extrated folder\Display.driver (no override message)

On device manager try to upddate the driver by pointing to the given folder.

On second attempt I tried to run the setup file of the driver itself but says that de sofware driver cannot find appropiate hardware...

Disable driver enforcement signature and try the above steps again.

    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1198&CC_030000
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1198&SUBSYS_04901028
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1198&SUBSYS_04901028&REV_A1

    Here you go...

    GeForce 340.43 Beta

    Modded nvdmi.inf v340.43

    GeForce 337.88 WHQL

    nvdmi.inf v337.88

    Better use v337.88, many issues w/ v340.43 & 780M/880M + 3D.

Good luck with your card matey. I too own three of them, but I'm not satisfied with the way they operate at the moment, due to Nvidia's latest mind boggling implementations. Driver 340.43 did something that crippled the performance of the card. You'll see what I mean at some point during gaming. Don't be worried when your clock drops below 350mhz. It's just driver 340.43 throttling the card for no apparent reason. To get around this, flash SLV and John's unlocked vbios. You'll be running at 993mhz at all times, so keep an eye on your temps of you plan on using SLV and John's vbios.

    Anyway, enjoy your card.
