    Howdy fellas.

For the last 3 days I cannot get a sleep while battling my R3 over who should control the screen brightness between the two of us. So far my laptop thinks it aint me for sure.

After I tried to update from 12.10 WHQL to either new Dell drivers (dated 2013) or AMD 13.4 or AMD 13.6 beta 2, I am losing the control over brightness.

Another problem I realize I have is that the performance in games has significantly dropped down to level "unplayable lags". Numerous
reinstalls, full wipes of driver software, reinstalling windows didn't help.

Funny thing is that I cannot revert to 12.10 for the same performance issues problem.

I also dived into local search here at NBR forums, google, nothing so far. I was hoping someone else with 6970 might have tried to install new drivers and could let me know how it went and what you did? I am really desperate as of now

Do you use internal graphics often? if not, just disable it and it might solve your problem.
