I've decided to try my hand at replacing the crappy stock display with an RGB display.

After peering over Villosa's thread on installing his high gamut LED I was wondering if anyone had any tips for removing the double sided tape without destroying the bezel. I know this is a big problem and Villosa never actually posted a guide on how to do this. Does anyone have any ideas or any success stories about this?

Speedy, you just reinspired me to repaint my second M17x R2 chasis. Did you use regular spray cans?

I have a Silver Chasis at the moment. I ordered the silver with the intention of painting the silver, but fell in love with it. I was saving the black in case I decided to sell the system, but now I'm thinking I may just spray it.

Now I need to decide on which color to paint. Did the paint chip easily? How was it to keep clean?.

McCankles, You may want to use a heat guy to soften the adhesive. Just use care when doing it not to damage anything.

Ahh OK. So I'm assuming you used a spray gun? Maybe more in depth then I can handle at the moment. I have a compressor at my parents and was going to get a nice spray gun. Wonder how a good can paint would turn out
