I'm just curious if there is a way to make the volume buttons go up in increments of 5 (or anything lower than 10) instead of 10? I find that 10 is often too quiet and 20 is too loud, but hate having to use the volume mixer to get to a different volume. Thank you.

+Don't know much about overclocking GPU or CPU, but curious if it can be beneficial to overclock the CPU or GPU on this laptop. I'll post my specs below.

    i7-2860QM @ 2.50GHz, 2501 Mhz, 4 Core(s)
AMD Radeon HD 6900M Driver 8.971.0.0 (12.4 Catalyst Control Center WHQL from Benchmark3d)

PS one last thing, are there driver updates for CPUs or is that not a thing?

If there is a way to change the volume slider increments, I haven't found it yet. I have an inline control knob on my headphones so I just leave the Windows volume control set to 100% and then control my volume with the inline knob (or my TV remote if I have my audio set to my HDTV).

Overclocking is a personal preference. It depends on what kind of computing/gaming you do. The benefits are purely CPU/GPU power and speed. Downside is it can cause your system to run hotter, and MAY cause system instability...but don't let that scare you.

Finally, there are no driver updates for Intel CPUs. Its just not something that is necessary. Windows stock drivers for the CPU are suffucient enough.
