Hi guys, what title says. tried rebooting a couple of times no hope. This happened after a BSOD. forgot what the error was all about but this did not happen only once to me. But before, after a few restarts, it goes back to normal but now, seems like my 6970m is gone forever. need help guys!

Your card may just need a re-seating in the slot.

If it was me I would first reinstall software first, second take it apart and look at the 6970. I would then take it out, put it back in and check for anything that looks out of the ordinary, like smell, discolor, etc.

If everything looks good, I would see if I have a buddy who loves troubleshooting and bring his 6970 over and see if that fixes it. If thats not an option I would buy a new 6990 if there is no warranty.
