You can download all the drivers for your system from here: Drivers and Downloads | Dell [United States]

Type in your service tag (located on the bottom of the PC) and it will give you all drivers relevent to your system. Only download the most recent release of drivers. If all else fails, call tech support back.

I tried getting drivers from ^there last night (Received my system on Wed 3/21) for the SSD I installed and did a fresh Win7 installation. The page doesn't seem to have everything I need, a least as it is directed in this guide. I didn't find drivers for USB 3.0, LAN, the wireless drivers (6250) didn't work, Nvidia 580M driver didn't work, etc. It was late and I probably need to set aside some decent time to look through it all, there are things I don't understand yet (new territory for me in many regards).

kitchengod, hopefully you are more experienced than I and will have better luck with your reinstall.

I usually go direct to the intel website for my wireless drivers (ultimate N 6300)...just do the auto detect under the support tab. The usb 3.0 drivers that are under "input" on the dell drivers page worked ok when I did my re-install.

You probably need to configure your setup for multiple displays through AMD CCC or Nvidia Control Panel, as applicable. Right click on the desktop to load and proceed. You may/will also need to adjust desktop size and settings for the added display within the same utility.

I've seen that problem listed as 'broken' in recent Nvidia drivers (of course I can't find it now). Are you on an Nvidia card? Which driver?
It was reported to be a timing issue when switching and the output times out before the signal syncs.

Anyway, one fix that was mentioned was that if you start your machine from cold with the HDMI connected it will work - not a great solution but worth a try to see if your HDMI port is OK. I also had a MB replacement when my port went bad, had to wiggle the connector but since this is only since a rebuild sounds software...
