    m17x r3 graphics settings

    Just got an m17x r3 with 6970m graphics card. I know it can play ultra on sc2 with 50fps the lowest. however, sc2 suggested everything on "medium". anyone has this experience?

    I mean i have no problem at all in playing sc2 in ultra but I am wondering why sc2 suggested "medium" on all of my graphics settings.

    My graphic driver is up to date btw.

    On my desktop which has i7 and GTX 480s in SLI, Civilization 4 tells me my specs are below the minimum requirements and recommends to run the game at low settings. However, Civ 4 was made before my hardware was released, whereas Starcraft 2 is a recent game. :confused:

    Yeah well according to canurunit.com my M11x can't run any current generation game whatsoever.. :D The recommendations aren't very accurate.. :p

    Dont worry about it. It does that for me as well with alot of games.

    The 6970m is so new that most games don't recognize it, so it will choose the default setting which is usually the medium setting.
