So, I'm in need of a little insight. I'm bidding on a M17x R4 atm and it states that it has ...
    INTEL i7 3630QM
    8GB RAM
    500GB HD
I'm trying to figure out what GPU it may have in it. The 3630 wasn't released until 3rd quarter of 2012 so I'm thinking a GTX 660m at the least???? Possibly a 680?
    Seller isn't being very vocal.

Hi, that should be right. It could be the 660m, 675m, or 680m. Also there was an AMD option but I'm unsure of which one. Kinda important to the value :D.

    Good luck.

It may also be the amd 7970m.
But, I wouldn´t buy something you don´t know its real condition.
I´d ask for pictures and more information, if I don´t get it, I don´t buy it.
    Good luck. Cheeerssss

Also if it has an AMD 7970m steer clear from the whole machine regardless of the price ... If you scout through the forums, you will find that these have very high failure rate in very short time

If he has not stated it has a dedicated videocard, he could literally be selling you a near-barebones laptop too. it might not even have a heatsink, it can technically run on the HD Intel graphics on the cpu.

That is a good point. However, never fear, it has a 660M! Oh, I also got it for $600.

I would say that this is a very nice deal for a very good machine that has an open road of upgrading

    Congratulations

Thank you. I figured it was time to get away from my 6 year old M15x, which is in its death throws.
