I tried widezu69's guide on modifying my bios to fix the throttling. When I run cmd.exe as an admin and I copy the nvflash.exe into the command window nothing happens. Then when i type "-b backup.rom" I get this message "-b is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." Tried searching up video tutorials for this to see if im doing anything wrong but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

Also I'm using the 3D users guide in widezu69's flashing guide. Should I use the non-3D users guide?

Hi, your problem is with issuing the cmd's into the window and I have seen others having trouble.

If you expand the flash utility and rom file to a folder off your c: drive. I called mine nvflash. Open the cmd window and type 'CD \nvflash' (no quotes in any instructions) and enter, the prompt should change to c:\nvflash.

Then type the command: 'nvflash -b backup.rom' and enter. It should now create a backup.rom file in the nvflash folder.

Finally type 'nvflash -4 -5 -6 FILENAME_OF_NEW_ROM_FILE' and enter. You will get a warning that you press 'Y' (twice) to and away it will go.

You have to do a full restart for it to take effect.

You might want to try the 'original.rom file in the attachment. I took this from my new 675m I got a month or two ago and I have not had to use the modified vBIOS at all, it just does not throttle. It might be luck of the draw but it could also be a later revision?
