Ok so i have the m17x and it has been running way to slow. I did the 3D mark 06 benchmark and only scored 5115. No way is that normal.

    Specs:
    Intel Core i7 820QM 1.73GHz (3.06GHz Turbo Mode, 8MB Cache) ( i didn't over clock)
    4GB Dual Channel Memory (2x 2GB DDR3)
Crossfire 1GB ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5870
    500gb hd at 7200 rpm
    win7 64bit

i've looked on the forums and installed the 10.7 drivers but that didn't help at all.
anything i can do to fix this? i really don't want to reinstall windows and all of that fun stuff and if i do have to send it back i wont have it before i go off the college...

are you sure you're not running on batteries? (perhaps on stealth mode?)
even with the power adapter in, the tray icon might still say you're on batteries.

check whether you're on only one card or both?
(rightclick tray icon and on one of the cards there is an menu entry named 'Crossfire settings' and select 'show CrossfireX status icon where applicable'

I've got it on high performance setting, the battery icon shows that its charging and in the catalyst control center i have crossfireX enabled.
