I have my m17x hooked up to a u3011 and it works awesomely. But I bought another one and tried to hook up (without the other one hooked up) via the same cable that the other works great on and I can't sustain 2560x1600 at all. It flickers like crazy. I restarted the m17x and tried different cables and went back to the original monitor and it works fine at any resolution. But the new one can't sustain more than 1920x1080.

Any ideas? Is the new monitor bad or is it a setting somewhere in the alienware that I need to change to let it knows it's a different monitor? Both are the same revision a05.

    Thanks
