    If I flash a unlocked A08 bios and enable the iGPU on a 120hz panel w/gtx 580m, would switchable graphics work or not? Thanks.

    crap. the replacement m17xr3 i was offered has the 120hz screen. its my only option, or else I don't get a replacement. Would replaceing the 120hz with a 60hz screen fix the switchable graphics thing?

    I've seen them disassemble the whole laptop, doesn't seem like too much work considering they would send me the whole assembly.
