    I was looking around for memory for my soon to be m17xR3 when I came across a post, not sure where, that even though you put in faster memory the BIOS (A04) will bring it down to 1333 anyway. It this the case, or did I miss read?

    Please let me know so I can buy the proper speed hyper-x :)

    Only if you have the 2630qm but the 2720qm and 2820qm support up to 1600MHz memory, so you should have no worries.
