If somebody red my previous post, you know i want to order one from HidEvolution.com .
A small price fluctuation in the HDD options got me wondering, wether the m17xR3 has a RAIDcontroller even if I choose a single HDD (or SSD).

On HidEvolution.com , I pay 25$ less for a system with Primary HDD+ Secondary HDD, instead of Primary HDD RAID.
Is it just them getting squeezing some extra money out of me or is it justified?

ALSO: Has anyone found Coupons for HidEvolution? ;)

It's software RAID, not a true dedicated RAID controller like the old-school SCSI ones. It's a feature supported by the motherboard/chipset, so any R3 will have it.
