My fans keep running on a medium speed even though my cores are only at 40C. They wont stop running and i dont know what to do. My GPUs are a little hotter at 58C and 52C. I already tried cleaning my system fan but i didnt get in my computer far enough to get to the gpus (indicator bar thing was stuck). Any help is appreciated

If you are increasing the fsb to overclock, it will mess with the fans... thats what happened to me before i bought the qx9300, now i just use the unlocked multiplier to overclock and my fans work like they are supposed to again.

Im not sure if there is a workaround for it or not... I never found one... My fans always acted funny when i overclocked my t9600 using the fsb.
But the qx9300 was cheap and an excellent upgrade, havent had any trouble since.

That's true. I remember when I was trying to overclock my cpu rising the FSB through BIOS, for some weird reason going over a certain value, will cause the fan of both video cards to stop working. Weird. I was about to fry my cards at that time. Most weird is if you overclock using Nvidia System Tools you'll not have any issue with the fans.

Now I have no problem because I use ThrottleStop.
