    just a quick background
computer was running wonderfully and bf3 great.
performance started to diminish and it was really playable,
uninstalled drivers, used driver sweeper and did clean install

started to get really bad lag spikes
messed with it some more (checking with gpuz, minor overclocking with spahire trixx.)
plays bf3 okay but i have been watching my sensors (clock temp etc using gpuz and hwinfo64 and running furmark

furmark says im running stock clock 500 and 888 at %100 load both gpus
(temsp are okay 70c on left and 63c on right)
gpuz says %100 load at 148.5 and 239.6 for the slave (67.5 and 54 when at idle) primary seems to get a proper reading?
    hwinfo say the same
    saphire trix is off
power settings set to max performance
    power play is on
tried turning both on and off.

    anyone got any suggestions?
im really worried that i will run into this issue when i install the new 6990s i ordered.
would a nuke and pave help?

m17xr2 with the i7820qm and dual 4870 im running ccc 11.11

i set saphire trixx to 620 and 930 and im getting a proper reading from card 1
but card 2 only changed to 167.4 and 250.6

could i just be getting faulty readings? wouldnt both cards have to be at the same clock speed to operate?
