    m17xr3 580m im new and dont know how to check if mine throttles and what software do i use any help would be great

    Any help to set up my m17xr3 580m(not 3D) would be great i use the A08 mod but ive been told that dont stop the throttling(i dont know how to check if it is throttling) and i dont know how to make the crysis disk.I dont want to overclock my lappy but i want to tweek it! :) it plays games fine but it would be good to know if it throttles or not(THANKS for any help :confused: )

    run some furmark for a bit and see what happens. If the FPS stays constant your good, but if the FPS gets suddenly low and then goes back only to go down again, you have throttling. :)

    thanks mate ive just got gpu-z and ran a few games and the gpu temp min52 max 59 so i dont think i have that problem.

    ive got furmark 1.9.1 what settings do you use ie full screen resolution anti-aliasing ect ect :)

    nice temps :) looks like dell did some nice pastings in the past few jobs, my temps are not high either :) not as low as yours though :)

    thanks mate Ive ran fermark for 20 Min's and the max temp was 68 is that any good.i have a photo of it but don't know how to upload it. when i go on insert image it asks for a URL but the photo is in my documents what do i do!

    nice temps as well, that's the lowest I have seen for a 580. :)

    :eek: wow nice to hear but i guess i'm doing something wrong :mad: if i have the lowest you have seen m8.i must say Ive never overclocked it i think that might have something to do with it maybe? whats mad is ive never done a repaste also :)
