    Hello

Im experiencing very strange behavior with my intel centrino 2230 mainly while playing diablo 3. So latency is around 49-120ms but every 10-40min game lags like hell for 15sec and latency is dropping down to 400-1000ms which makes game unplayable and after couple seconds everything is working fine again. This issue is quite strange because its common and happens every time. Its not a diablo server issue because my friends are playing without any problems. I have noticed that lag is appearing more often when i choose wpa2-aes encryption for my wifi device. Bandwidth for my connection varies from 20Mbps to 150Mbps. On another laptop its solid 150Mbps all the time,. I have tried all the combinations of options on my wifi and router (mixing channels, disabling/enabling options, power management options and setting maximum performance, etc). I thought that this might be some kind of router issue but yesterday my friend created a hot spot with his htc smartphone and after like 5min i got 3k ms in diablo 3 where my friend was playing flawlessly with <50ms sitting next to me. I have read some info about encryption issues with intel 2230 but it is not officially confirmed. Any advice?

P.s checked with stock drivers and with newest which are available on intel website, restored

Here's a couple of steps you can try to stabilize your connection.

Let us know how it goes

I tried all steps u mentioned - still same issue, but I disabled N mode and choosed wpa2-tkip enryption on my wifi device and everything seems to be ok so far. I will try to borrow another router and check everything again.
