Just received my M17x R4 and I installed my 16gb of ram, now 24gb total, and my 256GB M4 SSD in the open BAY (the middle one). I cloned it with Acronis and it was successful. Now how do I actually get the bios to use that bay as the primary boot c: drive for windows? It's still using the original OEM drive and I can't seem to figure out how to get the bios to switch to that one as it's not obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Okay nevermind! I didn't use the f5/f6 to change the boot order!
Acronis did a perfect clone of the oem HD though!

I was gonna say that you had to change the boot order but I'm glad you figured it out on your own, saved you some time.

You can set it in the BIOS too, I saw the option in there, looked pretty easy too.
I appreciate that Dell clearly labeled the two drive bays in there! Take out the drive, and there's a big "0" and "1" underneath them. one of the little details about the system that's soooo well thought out.
m17xr4 just received and need to make new SSD 2nd bay Primary in bios. How?!
