How did you even do that? It won't take the mini DVD, or at least it shouldn't. Anyways, if you can't get it out with a pair of tweezers or something small then your going to have to pull the bottom cover off and pull the DVD tray out of the system and try to disassemble it to get the disc out. Although I have never done this I presume there will be 4 screws in the DVD drive that will come out and then the cover should come off. If that does not work either then the drive is probably a write off and you will have to replace it. There should be a Dell part number on the drive, search for that in Ebay and order a new one.

Another option is to apply a double sided piece of tape to a thin piece of metal and slide it in and hope it grips it good enough. My kids put 3 dvds inside my old PS3 last year and unfortunately i had to open it up because it was really jammed in there.

I 've seen that happen to a friend on his R4. We had to open the laptop get to the drive and manually get the disk out, its a pain.

Let us know how that goes. The double sided tape is a great suggestion BTW :p
