    So far I've reset my graphics card and reset the system removing the cmos battery. i did this because i couldn't extend the display while in sli. Nvidia control center says that the displays must be hooked up to the same gpu. Funny they are. gtx260m. I've run out of ideas as to why it only allows one display to be active while in sli.

    Are you after a modified INF for driver 340.43? I'm lost as to what you're asking for here.

    Yes, because I can't have two monitors(laptop and Asus monitor) in sli with extended desktop. It even knows that they are connected to the same gpu, but not allowing both to work.

    That's odd. I downloaded driver 340.43 and edited both the clevo and dell inf's. Copy both INF's across and try again.
