    mx 17 r3 rubber banding/lag

    hello alienware ppl i got a big prob with all the game i play on my new alienware mx 17 r3. ok here the deal ever sence i got this laptop i have had these weird issue with game i play for example when ever i play crysis 2 i get these weird time where the game will slow down to a crawl and then go super fast then back to normal. and this is only with crysis. now with another game brink randomly when in game the game will freeze blink to the desktop and then back to the game and by that time iam probly kill or some lol. so i was wondering what is causeing all these probs with my games i would list more prob's but i dont want to bore u guys lol. i have made sure its on high proformence and made sure the cpu is working at full and stuff so if u guys know enything that will help let me know :)

    iam really really sorry for dubble posting i just tought u guys might find this interesting i was monitering my gpu with msi afterburner and my gpu useage goes from 100% all the way to 10 % randomly when iam playing eny game mabe it will help u guys help me lol srry agin for dubble posting

    which card and driver are you running?
    That and you "Are" plugged in, correct?

    For example, nvidia would be like 27x.xx or the amd would be like 11.X A/B/C

    this hasnt happened to me on anygame but black ops, solved it by setting the games priority to high

    hey adn ty for the relpy iam useing the nividia gtx 460 and yup its pluged in. iam not to sure though how to set prioritys to high

    ok i tryed doing the high priority but it didnot change enything but when i went into my bios i turned off intel speedstep that seems to help alot but my cpu mhz go from 3.4 to 2.3 so i have no idea what to do.

    ok so i called dell and they said that they send a level 3 letter or something out to help. they said i have a vary unique issue lets hope they know how to fix it -.-
