I have been tinkering with the 260.99 version of the nVidia drivers for the 260M SLI cards. When I open the nVidia control panel and go to the "set SLI and PhysX configuration" section I cannot click on the "Disable SLI" spot. I see all 3 video cards from this control panel and I know SLI is functioning, but why can't I disable this?

I could be wrong but this is what works in my last gen M17x, when you choose an option like force rendering, or designate a card as the physx card the box for disabled SLI should be populated automatically.

To disable SLI in the nVidia control panel you have to first disable hybrid SLI in the bios.

^^No you don't have to! You can simply disable/enable SLi in windows without disabeling it in BIOS.

Same behaviour here. What do you want to accomplish by disabling SLI? If for particular game, you can force settings in "Manage 3D Settings" and then 2nd Tab "Program Settings". If your game isn't listed, you can add it by selecting the exe file.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I brought this up because the nVidia control panel is limited when using 260m cards for some reason. My m17xR1 that has 285m's in SLI is using the same nVidia drivers but allows me to disable SLI and a few other things. I was curious if other were experiencing the same thing or not.
