    I think the ram has to be ddr3L due to only using 1.5volts ( someone more experience might be able to confirm this. )

    also to pull keyboard off you need to open bottom of the laptop, then remove "I" screws only. flip laptop over and pry off the bezel around keyboard starting with the bottom. unscrew top small screws on keyboard and you will see your ram modules.

    True, the RAM does not seem to be the right one. Have you tried looking on Youtube for videos on how to dissassemble the machine?
