    hey, me again :p

I am ordering my m17x R2 Monday , so I guess I will have it 10 days later or so
I am ordering it with win7 home premium edition, and putting the professional version on myself (its via work - so using a diff licence) Also swapping the hdd's for ssd's myself. ..

any gotcha's I need to know about ?
I've read a few horror stories over the last few days of people who've installed things from the resource cd's and needed a new motherboard ><

    I suppose I am asking
    1) what files do I need to copy over - I mean in terms of 'custom things' - I'm thinking screensaves/wallpapers/anything else here

    2) is there a guide - or recommended way to run through driver installations (any particular order I should / should not be doing) - presumably I just download the latest online?

I'm more than familiar with reinstallaing an OS etc no issue there- it's just as I say I've seen a few threads pop up with horror stories so I thought I'd best check if there is anything I shouldnt be doing etc :)

thanks for your help - appreciate it (sorry if this has been posted a million times before if you could link me to the relevant guide/info that'd be great ) : )

Put all the alienware wallpapers and any other programs like Data Safe and such on to a usb. that way you can reinstall them. just go thru the program list.
