So I didnt think things through and went to do raid 0 without doing much research, got no backup beforehand.

lost all my files, no windows.

Dont have the windows 7 CD with me, no back up. f8 doesnt work, can get to bios, and f10 for boot screen (harddrives, usb)

Have a spare laptop, 2x 1gb usb sticks.

How can i be resourcful and get windows running again?

    im ok with pirating

you will need to buy a 4gb USB key. what .iso is it? 3Gb seems small for a windows 7 unless its been trimmed...

You switched the HDD setting in the BIOS did you? If so just change it back.

yea its all gone then. it would have formatted the Hdds to create the stripe. to install windows from a USB you will need a 4Gb flash and you will need to make it bootable.

After downloading the Win 7 .iso, the Windows 7 DVD/USB Download Tool provides a very simple utility (free) to burn a bootable DVD or USB memory stick for installation. Microsoft Store Online
