    not working eject button

    hi all,

    Can anyone help me? my eject button is not working after I installed win 8. i was trying to contact alienware support but without any solution. if i am on bios the eject button is working but after when is go on system it stop to work. I lost all ideas what i have. my optical drive is mata bd-re uj235a.

    did you install the alienware software? Like OSD an all? I may be mistaken but i think you need one of the alienware programs on dells driver page to get the button to work

    yes, I did. all has last update. Everything has been installed. Dell put out new firmware for dvd/cd optical drive but is not support that my blueray burner :-(

    go to my computer and right click on your dvd drive, and click eject, does it work in windows like that?

    zes, it is working in BIOS, only on win8 is not working.
