Hi mates,
I have a nvidia gtx 680m, and I have a small question, what is the actual speed of the memory?
The reason I ask is that in many places and seen that are 1800MHz but in others it is only 900MHz.
In my case the gpu-z 900MHz mark me, but nvidiInspector 1800MHz.
Any reason?
Dell OEM card.

It's supposed to by looked at x2
so it's 1800Mhzso it's good.
You check with a different program (i think CPU-ID/Z) and that will usualy show the x2 value. -

900mhz GDDR5 = 1800 DDR = 3600 QDR
Because there are many "clocks" when dealing with ram it can be quite confusing. -
A basic answer would be:
DDR (any kind) = Dual Data Rate.
So some tools show the single data rate (your 900Mhz for example), but more common is the dual data rate number (your 900Mhz x2 = 1800Mhz) -

While nvidia often advertise the quad data rate.

Stop confusing him
, that was not his question
