    hi guys
    i remeber that reading some old posts that this ssd was unstable
    i remember there was a thread about how to install it but i cannot find it
    can someone help me pls

    hope someone helps you so I will see that thread too :)

    What I know is:
    update to last firmware using Windows.
    When you format it let 64 MB unformatted space at least for selfcaching.
    Format it only using Windows 7 for proper alignment.
    I don't even know what else.

    I spent a lot of time getting Vertex 3 running properly, but without success. No BSOD, just freezing all the time, had to return it.

    @Airacuti. I saw 1 guy offered to leave 64 MB unformatted space on this SSD. Maybe you try to manage a clean install again? I saw you are OK with that cause had enough practice

    it was a headache
    i need to reinstall windows on my normal hard drive and installit on ahci then upgrade the ssd with a program from ocz then install windows ahci on ssd then after first reboot go to bios change raid then let finish instalattion on ssd and it was all it took a couple of days to figure out to go ahci and update firmware on ssd but that was all i dont have blue screen and nothign all is working perfectly and the reading speed is 500 m and writin like 200 so its super fast thank you all guys for the posts and help tell me if u want +1 rep :p :D
