    paypal question in placing an order

    has anyone expierenced this. i have money pending in my paypal to clear on friday and i am wanting to place my order for my m17x. if i were to place the order today would it charge my account today or would they wait to do any charging until it is shipped. do you guys know if i would be able to place it even though i dont have all the money in my paypal currently? thanks

    They would pre-authorize it today and charge it when it ships, so if the money isn't there they won't place the order. The money has to be there to pre-authorize the total amount of the order or it will fail on the charge and Dell cancels the order.

    afaik dell will start production as soon as they have received the payment. In my case for example they took 2 buisness days and i've payed sending the money on Dell account directly.

    At the moment i bought my AW there was a little discount, but since i was abroad for work i was unable to make the payment and the discount was going to expire the following day, so i called them and they were so kind to put on hold my order as it was at the moment of the discount and they keep it untill i was able to make the payment. (it was about 8 days later).

    They will first charge you, then production stage will start.
