    Ive done a format using alienrespawn but when its finished i can do a windows restore and go back months. i don't want that info on my computer as i'm selling it i need a full format no trace left. what do i do please?


    PS its 330am i'm off to bed i will do what people say tomorrow thanks!

    use the disks included with the box to reinstall windows, they will wipe everything. you can also wipe the recovery partition from disk management that is built into windows

    And if you're worried about your previous data you can use DBAN to secure erase your HD.
