Hi Guys I know this is a very old topic and a very big one so I do excuse me if these questions have been answered before

I have a M17x R3 120hz 3d machine and would like to install a 680m GPU, from what I have read I will lose the 3d capability on the laptop (which I don't use) but that raises several questions

    1. Will I still have 3d capability on my Samsung 3D TV as an external monitor (working fine at present)
    2. Will standard NVidia drivers work or do I need modified drivers

    Already running stock A12 bios

thx in advance for taking the time to answer

If you go for the 680M I thought you can keep the 3D feature. Not for any other more recent nVidia GPU however.
For 3D on external display I have no clue but IMHO it should be lost/kept the same way than on the laptop LCD.
Warning: Not sure if you can keep 3D in Win 10 whatever the GPU.
