    r1 Brightness problem

    f4 &f5 + fn and the windows screen brightness do nothing.

    i cant make my screen brighter or dimmer at all it is just stuck at high brightness or some low brightness setting.

    i am running 302.59 with 260m sli

    Try this:

    power off your laptop then take out the battery. Then hold your power button for like 30 seconds. Pop the battery back in and start it up. I had the problem and this worked for me try it out.

    FWIW, mine is doing the same thing. I get the OSD showing the brightness moving, but no actual change in brightness. I was thinking it might just be I need to install the Dell keyboard driver but haven't tried it yet.

    Also, you can just use either Windows-X or the Display control panel to change the brightness to whatever you want.
