    r3 freezing

    im having problems with my r3 - it keeps on freezing and the temps are fine is this common with this machine as its getting really annoying now

    No, it's not supposed to be doing that. Can you provide more information though, like your configuration and what circumstances your laptop freezes under?

    nvidia 460m- 8gig ram -750 hardrive .


    freezes on anthing even just surfing the web or simple video

    Which Nvidia video driver are your running? Did you update to the latest one that was posted in march i think it was? If so this driver has known issues with going to "black screen" and requiring a reboot to clear. Try rolling back to the original one, and or the beta one that is posted in the sticky. Also when you roll back if you need to, do a clean install.

    used the modded one and 3d was dodgy so went to the m18x driver section and got the video controller of the r3 section and was fine but it doesnt go blank everything just freezes on

    i tried installing my windows cd and it come with cant install windows on this machine due to drivers or something - so had to use alienware cd

    na just a western digital blue 750gig 1 hardrive couldnt get second to fit
