    r3- intel graphics driver

    i cant seem to install the drivers for the intel graphics. it says drivers not supported for my hardware, or some such nonsense

    Switch over via FN+F7. You will be prompted to reboot - do so. Once back at the desktop, run the Intel HD Graphics installer. After the install is complete, use FN+F7 to switch back to discrete GPU.

    It won't work for me either, the driver on Dell's website shows as for the "Intel 3000 Graphics" and when I tried installing it the exact way you described BB and it gave me the "non-supported...." error and won't install but somehow has a driver that makes it work and show as the Intel HD Graphics on GPU-z.

    Mine updated fine but i have the Optimus version of the R3 and that prob has something to do with it.

    the intel driver is from AMD....when i look at the properties of the device in device manager (for the Mobile Intel HD Graphics), it says 'ATI Technologies, Inc" under manufacturer.... this leads me to believe that the drivers get loaded with the ATI installer?

    Mine says the provider for the driver i am running is Intel.
