so i just received my m17x r2 after dell finished repairing it. My warranty just ran out yesterday but im having an issue with my computer. I think one of my gpu fans isnt working properly. I used hwinfo to monitor my fan speeds. my cpu fan is at 2000 rpm my gpu is at 1900 rpm and the gpu 0 is at 7rpm. hwinfo also lets me change my fan speeds, i tried changing the fan speed of gpu0 but nothing happens. My temps seem normal though. in fact better than before the repairs. but my computer sounds like the fans are at full blast at all times no matter what i do and it is very annoying. Since it is still day 1 of receiving my laptop can i get dell to do some repairs for free? or is there something else i can do to fix this

EDIT: Just realized i do not fell any air coming out of the left side air duct.

Or maybe the fan itself is knackered, I think they are relatively inexpensive to replace. You could try ringing them and tell they "it was fine before they fixed it"

Ask them if you can extend your warranty.

    It's worth it imo.

Not gonna be cheap but longer extension will give you more bang for a buck.

You should be able to extend up to 5 years from the day it was received.
