Recently whenever I had a cd/dvd/bluray in my drive and I hit the eject button the screen will freeze. After a couple minutes or if I hit CTL ALT DELETE it would sometimes fix the freezing but the disc will not eject. Is there a fix for this?

Personally I haven't heard of this problem. If I were you though, I would try un-installing the control center and re-installing it. restarts after each part. Not sure if it'll fix it, but worth a shot.

Does it happen when you do right click -> eject on the drive?
Does the drive read CDs fine beside that?
