i know this has been mentioned but it wasn't a very detailed topic. Recently i have had me screen and touch pad replaced. The touch pad was curved to the point where i could see hexagonal marks on the screen.

Is there any such protector like a plastic cover that i could put on my screen.

not a commercially avaliable one. I would try to find the material in bulk on ebay or similar and cut one yourself.

I've seen some people mention zagg is a good product, and that they were willing to make a new protector for free if you're willing to ship your $3000 computer to them lol..

I'm sure they're legitimate, it's just the whole $3000 computer being sent off thing you'd have to get over.

I'd ship if I were in the states, but the CPU, GPU's, heatsinks, fans, wifi/bluetooth cards, motherboard, optical drive ect would come out first. They'd get a M17x case. But I think it'd be worth it for a Zagg product. I have 3 in use now and waiting for my M11x replacement screen before I install the next one. Got it here though

yes it took me calling AW 3 times first time i don't think we were even home when they called. So about a month later i had to re open the ticket. This second time all i got were phone calls sayiing there was not a technician in my area.

i think on the third time a guy that does the networking for my dad's office tracked a guy down at least he told me when the guy was heading my way any how

is there any possible way to prevent this from happining again so i don't have to get the network guy to light there fire. so that it gets resolved

Go get a piece of thin cloth from your local craft store. Cut it to exactly the size of your laptop screen, and lay it on the keyboard before you close the top. That's what I did when I started to notice the little marks.

I use a microfiber cloth, that way you can use it to clean the screen at the same time.

I got a shaggy mac for both my M11x and my M17x. It keeps them clean and safe.

yeah, that's a microfiber cloth, just a really expensive one lol. I don't really like the material to be honest, they always seem to get dirty more quickly, the fibers are extremely small and usually in low density amounts so you have to use more force than usuall and it's pretty thin too.

I ordered a soft mouse pad with my Razer Orochi, made to use as a screen protector. My screen is as nice as new thanks to it. :D

you definitely want something, the rubber feet on the palmrest will start to wear after 2-3months and the glass will be resting on the palm rest.
